Description:
I have a full box of Remington Kleanbore dummy cartridges for the 45-70, loaded with a drilled and plugged primer and no powder, and a 405 gr soft point bullet. Remington took a standard box and wrapped it in a green piece of paper labeled to identify these as to be used by manufacturers to test inspect and demonstrate the mechanical operation of their firearms. The cases are brass and somewhat tarnished. The box says these were black oxidized cases. I cannot reconcile the discrepancy but I have 4 boxes all the similar contents and label. This listing is for one box, but shipping via USPS would be the same whether you wanted one box or all 4 - $15 even.
This particular box is well worn, some tearing. The head stamps all say R-P 45-70 GOVT. These are sold as-is. I've tried to research these but so far haven't have much luck.
