*** SOLD *** A really nice Superposed Superlight made in Belgium in 1967. A perfect gun for the uplands. With its low 6lb 8oz weight you can carry it easily all day. Fast handling 26-1/2” barrels choked Improved Cylinder and Modified. Bluing on barrels and frame is excellent except for the slightest little bit of thinning on the lower side of the hinge pin. Finish on stock is great but there are a few scratches from normal usage – see photo below. It is all original and in my opinion it has not been shot much. Serial number is 76344 S7. *** The 26-1/2” barrels are chambered for 2-3/4" shotshells, have automatic ejectors and are topped by a narrow raised sold crosshatched rib. The chokes are marked **- and ** indicating Improved Cylinder and Modified chokes. The bores are shiny and bright and have not been altered. The Under barrel measures 0.730 with a constriction of 0.013 for the Improved Cylinder choking. The Over barrel has a bore diameter of 0.729 and has a constriction of 0.023 for Modified choking. *** The stock in in very good condition with crisp checkering and finish in very good condition. There are a few handling marks and two surface scratches. The straight grip stock comes with a semi-beavertail forearm and has a factory logo plastic butt plate. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4” to the thin plastic butt plate by 1-3/8” by 2-1/8”. Neutral cast. *** Bird hunters --- think about the advantages of hunting with a lightweight 12 gauge. One of the most overlooked Superposeds the Superlights are an answer to the upland gunners dream for a quick handling double that packs a punch. Made in Belgium in the heyday of Superposed production. Don’t let this beauty get away. *** I am an FFL and will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL.
