Remington-UMC Commemorative Model of 1911 chambered in .45 ACP, manufactured in 2014. Pistol is packaged in a wood glass-toped presentation case with reproduction leather holster, reproduction magazine pouch and two-tone magazines, with receiver marking: Eagle's Head/138 (after original serial # 15,000), slide marking: Eagle's Head/138 #15,000), barrel proof mark P stamped on top of chamber, Remington UMC hammer checkering patterns - LG, no border, Remington Arms - UMC Grips (13 rows of checkering plus one between large diamonds), US Property Marks, frame and slide dimensions, Remington UMC Roll Marks, Carbona Blue, last original serial # made was 21,676; first reproduction will start at UMC21677 (this one is serial numbered UMC21875), no E on trigger guard or slide (this was done on Pre # 15,000 only), special serial number range UMC21677-UMC22677. All parts are machined out of carbon steel, all parts are made in the USA, each gun is hand fitted by a gunsmith. The original Remington M1911UMC was released in 1918 and for over 100 years, the M1911 has reliably serviced military and civilians alike. The Remington UMC 1911 Commemorative Combo Pistol was a limited-time and limited-quantity offering by Remington Arms and Turnbull Mfg. Co. to reintroduce a historically accurate rendering of the UMC 1911. Gun is new and has been test fired only.
