Description:
Beretta S2 sidelock ejector 12 gauge, Single Selective Miller Trigger, 2 3/4" chambers 26" tubes with solid rib. Choked Full/Improved Cylinder, 14" LOP to Beretta Plastic Buttplate. The left side of the top barrel is marked "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO. NEW YORK/MADE IN ITALY" AND "U.S. AGENTS" on the right side of the top barrel. Bright side lock action featrues the Beretta address on the underside and a fine scroll and border engraving. The engraving is also featured on the forearm hardware, trigger guard and break lever with pigeon inlay. Grooved forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic grip cap. The gun is all orignal, 95%+ blue, the stock and forearm are very good with minor small scratches, checkering is good and crisp. The gun comes in its original leather A&F takedown case and accessories, all marked A&F. The case is good and clean. The leather handle is a little tired. The gun was made in Italy in 1953. The gun, case and accessories all marked Abercrombie & Fitch make this a very cool set up. The gun has not been shot much during its life. I have owned it since 2010, and probably have not shot more than a box of shells through it. Great vintage sidelock ejector being the precursor to the SO Beretta at a fraction of the cost.
