Inv. 6856 Radom(Nazi), VIS 5, Cal. 9mm, Ser. E 7231. Slotted, 3 Lever First Variation, Awesome condition, rare with matching barrel, slide, and frame.
What a find for the very "picky" collector. The original factory condition rates at the very least 90+%. The only loss there is is due to some very slight sharp edge slivering, muzzle wear and the usual safety rub mark. Surprisingly it doesn't have the usual holster rub mark on the left of the slide. This little "Shelf Queen" doesn't show any toning of the grip straps.
The left side of the frame is stamped Eagle/WaA77, the slide, Eagle/WaA77 and Eagle/Swastika. The right trigger guard and take down lever still show some early Polish workers proof marks. These extremely scarce slotted Radoms were in production when the Nazis took over the factory.
After they were finished with a wartime finish they were issued to the Nazi forces. All guns produced thereafter were not slotted. Making one in this condition very scarce indeed. The grips are the original black plastic and without a flaw. The grips screws likewise, flawless. The feed ramp, bolt face and slide rails show very little use if any. The bore like the rest of the gun just super. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a sign of frost anywhere. It comes with one correct plastic follower magazine with the spine base also stamped with the same inspector pass on the take down lever.
Even the most critical collector would be hard pressed to find a nicer rare "slotted" Radom ......$2695. Shipped
