Inv.6536 Walther 43 , (Coded ac 44) Cal. 8mm, Ser. 4450 c. This is a real beautiful example of a late WWII Nazi K-43r. From it's overall appearance it has seen little if any use.. The gun appears to have about 95+% of the original factory wartime finish.
The bolt carrier and receiver are of the late war rough casting type. The receiver has the Eagle/Swastika proof and the bolt, the Eagle/356 inspector's Waffenamt. It is complete with the often missing dust cover There ar pits rust spots or rub marks.All serial numbers match.
The laminated stock and handguard are great, evenly color matched and in super nice condition. No splits, chips or dings anywhere. The left side of the butt has a Waffenamt that is illegible but obviously present.
The barrel is super... The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling and just the slightest hint of frost. It comes complete with an original ramrod, front sight cover, and one original magazine stamped, "aye", Eagle/Wa843, K 43. The gun is just an outstanding example of what has become known as "Hitler's Garand". A really outstanding find for the very critical collector or shooter.
For extra, a mount and original scope will be included. It has been fitted to the gun by our professional.
