This 1876 50-95 big bore has a 26" octagon barrel and magazine tube, the butt stock and forearm are in very good condition with no cracks or chips, the bore is a 6 from 1 to 10 has a ring 2" down from the muzzle, I took this rifle out and shot it to see if that ring had any effect on the accuracy, with my old eyes having a hard time seeing the rear sight it shoots very well (see photos) serial number 77xx made in May of 1879 1st month of 50-95 production. letters with Cody.
