I'm thinning out my Safari collection and am offering this one for sale. This Browning Safari is all original right down to the old-style horn buttplate. It has the coveted long extractor action in relatively rare 264 Winchester Magnum caliber. Serial number is L8919. This puts the date of production circa 1961. I am not a professional so I will do my best to accurately describe the condition. The bluing is in excellent shape with no rust or pitting. Likewise, the bore is sharp with no rust or pitting. The wood demonstrates multiple small dings and scratches accumulated over 59 years of life. There is some flaking of the lacquer around the buttplate and front sling swivel anchor. The scope and mounts are not included.
