Description:
This is another one from my collection that I have for sale. This is a Browning Safari in 458 Winchester Magnum with the coveted long extractor action. The serial number is L7042. Fellow member Jim Reeves, who I believe is an expert in these rifles, tells me the date of production is circa 1961. I bought this from an estate of an older gentleman and his wife did not know much about it. The bluing is much too perfect and I suspect this was professionally reblued at some point. The bore is shiny without pitting or rust. The stock shows only some very minor surface scuffs and has an embedded brass plaque without any name or initials.
