-----New Haven Made CRF Model 70 Stainless Ultimate Shadow 243 Win 24" Barrel NEW Unfired-----
This is a NEW model 70 Stainless Ultimate Shadow, chambered in 243 Winchester, with a 24" barrel. These rifles were special order. They were not listed, in the Winchester catalog.
It has a 24" Sporter contour, stainless barrel. It is Controlled Round Feed, with a stainless claw. This is the original Ultimate Shadow stock, with grey over-molding, on the forearm, & pistol grip. It has the Winzorb recoil pad, which is one of the best recoil pads; ever made (right in there with Kick-Eez). It also has a 1 piece trigger guard/floor plate, & hex head bottom metal screws, from the factory.
This rifle has the original; model 70 Winchester trigger. The most bullet proof, ingenious trigger, ever built, on any action, anywhere, anytime.
The barrel has been cleaned, & bore scoped. It is spotlessly clean, & looks good. No rust, no pitting. The throat, & the lead-in, on the lands; are pretty smooth, no glaring tool marks.
For some reason, we can not find the factory box, & paper work; so understand, it won’t come with the original factory box, & paper work.
This is an absolutely superb New Haven made Winchester, in an excellent caliber.
