Boxlocks - The Francotte Eagle grade was a high grade gun built by Francotte for the American market. This gun was retailed by Von Lengerke & Detmold of New York, at the time considered to be the finest outdoor sporting store in the world.
This eagle grade features exceptional chiseled fences and top notch engraving and of course the American eagle in gold on the bottom of the action. This is an extremely handsome shotgun of quality. The barrels have been recently blacked. There is some loss to the lettering on the barrels but still quite legible.
