Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful Harrington and Richardson M1 Garand. This Garand was manufactured in 1956. The bore on this firearm is in excellent condition showing very deep cut rifling and bright finish inside. Action and all mechanical functions work flawlessly. Bolt, receiver, gas system, and trigger group are all H&R with manufacturing #'s era correct. The barrel has been replaced by a Springfield armory barrel but is in excellent condition as mentioned above. Finish on the metal is in excellent condition with no scratches or loss of finish. Stock is in excellent condition as well. Featuring a prominent proofmark on the inside of the pistol grip. However, it is lacking the left side proofs on the stock. The stock itself is a very bright and interesting pattern, and the overall condition is mint.
