Description:
The compact and easy-to-carry Ruger Guide Gun Bolt-Action Rifles are prepared for big game and any conditions that come your way. The LC6™ trigger has a smooth performance from the get-go for increased accuracy at the range or in the field. The nonrotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor is the most positive case-extraction system ever invented. Fixed-blade-type ejector positively ejects empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. The muzzle-brake system includes a removable, radial-port muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil. Brake may be replaced with the included dynamically matched muzzle weight. Switching between the brake and the weight will not change the bullet's point of impact for a particular load. Included thread protector may be used if neither the brake nor weight is wanted. Three-position safety is accessible and allows shooter to lock the bolt or to load and unload the rifle while the safety is engaged. Cold-hammer-forged, stainless steel barrel aids in accuracy, longevity and ease of barrel cleaning. Patented integral scope mounts have been machined directly on the solid-steel receiver, which provide a stable mounting surface for scope rings, eliminating a potential source of looseness and inaccuracy (scope rings included). Shallow express-style windage adjustable "V" notch rear sight and large white-bead front sight for instant target acquisition. Rugged Green Mountain laminate stock is dimensionally stable through environmental extremes and features a soft rubber recoil pad with butt pad spacers for different shooters or varying degrees of outerwear. Three 1/2" spacers included. Rugged one-piece, stainless steel bolt, swivel studs with both a barrel-band mounted stud and an optional forend stud supplied for mounting sling swivels. Ruger logo engraved solid-steel floorplate for easy unloading without having to chamber each cartridge.
