Description:
Used. This is an example of a unique Belgian made double that has seen much field use. Manufactured in Herstal Belgium by the firm of Peiper-Bayard this side lock double is is very European in appearance and handling. Barrels were made using Bayard steel (Acier Bayard) and the top of the rib is marked "Pour Poudres Vives" for bright (aka smokeless) powders. The factory inspector was Wagemans Sylvain indicated by the R with a star above it on the barrels and water table.
