Description:
Built in 1938 on the five screw N-frame this awesome .38/44 Heavy Duty has the standard 5" barrel and original bright blue finish. The gun is wearing a fantastic set of ambidextrous Roper grips with the classic double-ribbon checkering pattern.
The gun is in excellent overall condition and retains virtually 99% of the original bright blue finish with just a few very small and minor spots of aging on the left side of the frame and the bottom of the barrel shroud. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the gun will be tough to improve upon. The excellent Roper grips make this a must-have for any collection!
