Description:
This original .31 caliber 1849 Pocket revolver has a 5-7/8" octagon barrel. The bore shows good rifling but has scattered pitting. Stamping on the top flat is partially obliterated and what can seen reads Address New York City. The P grade Walnut grips are in good condition. Stamped on the left side of the frame is Colts Patent. Serial number is 1XXXX6 indicating that it was manufactured in 1857. Serial numbers match on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Overall length is 11-1/4", weight is 1 lb, 10 oz. Please Note: This revolver was re-blued by a previous owner and shows scattered pitting. Factory wood to metal fit - made by Samuel Colt - New York. Condition: Good. Our stock number is P-28-22.
