Description: This original .54 caliber Kentucky pistol has a browned tapered octagon 7/8" to 13/16" x 8" smooth bore barrel that is fitted with a blade front sight. Inscribed on the top flat is Jacob Kunz, Philadelphia. The P+++ Maple stock is mounted with a mix of brass and German silver furniture, including a brass butt cap and German silver thumb piece. The flint lock with J Kunz inscribed on the plate, is activated by a single trigger. The overall length of this pistol is 14-1/2", weight is 2 lbs. Please Note: The metal finish on the barrel is quite worn. The ramrod is a newly made replacement. This pistol MAY have been restocked many years ago.
