Description:
Remington Model 700 C-Grade in 7mm Remington Magnum. A Remington Custom Shop Gun. An early model 700 rifle, where the bolt is in-operable when the safety is in the "On Safe" position. To operate the bolt as well as to unload the rifle, the safety must be in the "Off Position". The rifle features a 24" barrel, C-Grade checkered walnut stock with rosewood grip cap and forend tip. The rifle will make a good hunting rifle, unfortunately their is evidence of rust pitting to the barrel metal and refinishing. See "Metal Condition" for more details.

Manufacturer: Exact date unknown. Barrel code is not readable, most likely manufactured in the late 1970s but no later than early 1980s. In the early 1980s, the safety was changed so that the bolt can be operated with the safety on or off.
Caliber Info: 7mm Remington Magnum.
Metal Condition: The appearance looks great, however the caliber stamping is very faint, and upon close inspection of the barrel surface with a magnifier, small pitting shows in the barrel metal. Unfortunately the metal acquired rust pitting and then was resurfaced and re
Wood Condition: There are numerous small scratches in the stock and a couple of scrapes, the worst to the edge of the pistol grip cap. Otherwise, the gloss finish looks very good.
Bore Condition: The bore looks very good and the bolt face shows very little sign that the rifle was shot.

Triggers: Single.
