MEXICAN REVOLUTION RELIC WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION .44-40 CAL. OCTAGON SHORT RIFLE CIRCA 1890’S. Original factory 20” octagon barrel. Not shortened. Missing forend and dust cover. Rear sight broken and rear part missing. Metal cleaned but with corrosion and medium pitting overall. Butt stock heavily sanded and refinished. Working order and poor bore. Up from Mexico and typical of many Winchester 1873 short rifles that went there during the Revolutions of the late 19th and early 20th Century. Colorful.
