FIRST YEAR WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION .38 W.C.F. (38-40) CAL. CAL. RIFLE. Serial number in the 9xxx range and all matching and original. 1892 production. 24” octagon barrel with later elevator rear and factory front sights. Full length magazine tube. Very good to fine overall with 40-505 blue mixed with patina. Stock and forend with original worn finish. Excellent working order and very good plus bore with well defined rifling. Antique.
