FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. 1873 saddle ring carbine in 44-40. mfg 1899 serial 535xxx. most original blue on magazine tube front bbl band and butt plate. rest of gun turned nice even plum patina. some case colors on hammer and lever. excellent screws. strong model and caliber markings. clean wood with usual handling marks and no splits. someone added a spot of silver to the front blade sight (removable) and is pictured. crisp action and great bore and rifiling. a very clean carbine in the desirable 44WCF caliber showing light usage. a great cowboy action or collectible carbine. (all pictures were taken 12/13/18 digital settings were not correct for those showing 2007)
