DANISH SJOGREN 12GA. "AUTOMAT" SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN, CIRCA 1905-07. Serial number "370X". 28" barrel with no rib as they did not come with them. Choked modified. Original blue 80% plus. One of only 5,000 made total. Danish/Swedish answer to the 1st generation semi's like Browning A5 and Walther model semi-auto shotguns. Unique action quite rare in the U.S. perfect working order as I've shot this one and several other I've collected over the years. Almost all the original blue on all parts. Original wood with checkering on forend only(wrists were not checkered). 14 1/2" length of pull over original Sjogren buttplate. Original finish on wood with a few scratches and one ding to forend. Sound wrist with NO issues. Factory sling swivels. Magazine tube holds five rounds(any cartridge under 2 3/4" will work). Prime example of semi-auto from the dawn of the their beginning with Benelli being a proponent and used several ideas stemming from the inertia driven action from Swedish inventor Carl Sjogren. Made in Sweden and then Denmark.
