#A1088, Verney-Carron 600 Nitro Express Model AZUR Safari PH Double Rifle from their 'L'Atelier Custom Shop, It remains as new, 24" ejector barrels, Full length rib with a ramped up 1/4 rib and a ramped up front sight, 1 fixed/standing rear sight, Fold-up night sight, Bolstered frame, Double triggers with the front articulated, A very slight beavertail forend, Shadowline European style cheekpiece, Sling eyes with the rear being a 2 screw tiedown, Trigger guard tang with 2 screw tiedown to the steel engraved grip cap, Palm swell for the right hand, 14 13/16" LOP over a 1" Decelerator pad, A full and proper 5 5/8" depth of butt from heel to toe which is ideal for a big bore, 600 N. E. weight at 14 lbs. 14 oz., Very nice wood, Proper grain layout for years of tough use, 40% factory engraving coverage, The piece remains as new and overall it is 99% condition, Regulated with Kynoch ammunition with a 900 grain bullet, It comes in the molded factory case with the paperwork and target. The piece has the feel and comes to the hand with ease considering this is serious big bore machinery.
This is my mark relative the Al Gore scale of Earth friendly guns. Goofy Algore is the absolute Dean of the School of Planetary Analysis and Eco-Evangelism. This gun has a problem, as it is not Earth friendly as it will emit a lot of greenhouse gases, nitrous oxide, methane and will leave a large trailing cloud of carbon. If you shoot this gun a lot, you will need to buy carbon credits to offset the inevitable high carbon emissions. Plus, you will need to start to carry the 600 ammo in an eco-bag, so you don't have to use plastic grocery bags, use your own chopsticks instead of disposable ones, buy power-efficient light bulbs and other measures to offset this 600 Nitro Express greenhouse gas emissions. If you shoot this piece a lot, in good conscience you will need to plant a tree. You might need to join The Paris Climate Accord with the United Nations as they are dealing with greenhouse-gas-emissions. Oh my!
