Description:
Springfield 1866 2nd Allin conversion in fine plus Cond. Gun is 100% complete and original. Barrel, lock plate, barrel bands, and butt plate retain bright civil war finish. Bore is bright and clean with zero pitting. All metal parts have no pitting. Stock is great with a few scratches and dings and a chip under the lock plate. Stock has sharp unworn edges and two sharp cartouches on left flat. Original cleaning rod is like new. Hammer and trigger work like a charm. This historic gun has been well preserved and you would be hard pressed to find one better for the money.
