This spectacular and scarce Winchester Model 70 Lightweight Super Grade in 7mm Mauser is as fine as you will ever see. It is like-new, unfired, and in the original box with all of the paperwork. It was bought new and immediately put up into storage where it has spent it's entire life until now. As you can see in the pictures, this Model 70 LW Super Grade has a gorgeous factory deluxe Walnut stock. In a room full of Super Grade Winchesters this rifle stands out! Not only does it have very beautiful wood, but it is in the very scarce caliber 7x57mm otherwise known as 7mm Mauser. It seems that relatively speaking, only a handful of this configuration in this caliber ever left the factory. The high gloss blue finish on this Winchester is like-new and mint. There are zero imperfections visible. The 22" inch lightweight profile barrel has no provisions for iron sights and has a mint bore. The rifling still shows factory-sharp lands and grooves and it has never been fired. The factory stock is equally as pristine. The wood is free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible imperfections. The checkering is still sharp and clean. The amount and color of figure in this stock is extraordinary. The ebony forend tip is perfectly fit to the stock as-is the factory red recoil pad. The length of pull on this rifle is 13.75" inches to the end of the pad. Everything on this rifle works 100% like the day it left the factory. It comes with the original box with an intact serial number matching end label and all of the Styrofoam inserts as well as all of the paperwork it shipped with. If you have been looking for a really special Model 70 LW Super Grade for your collection this is it. This rifle could not be improved upon in any category of condition or originality.
