WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 44WCF MFG 1894 THE 3RD YEAR OF PRODUCTION.STANDARD 24' round bbl rifle serial 56xxx antique. receiver, lever and hammer retain a lot of the original blue and colors. magazine tube,bbl and forend cap turned a nice even brown patina. strong markings on bbl address and caliber markings.really nice figured proud wood with no cracks or splits just the usual handling marks.velvet smooth action and good bore for a 3rd year rifle. has good rifiling lands and shoots good groups. I have used this rifle for deer hunting and cowboy action. 124 years young. still looks great . the right caliber 44-40. ready to use or add to your collection. a 1892 antique rifle for the price of a regular 92 rifle.
