SMITH & WESSON D.A. 3RD MODEL 5” NICKEL REVOLVER W/ORIGINAL BOX CIRCA 1880’S. All original in excellent condition. Desirable long 5” barrel. Very scarce original 1880’s box serial numbered to the gun and with original orange end label. 95% nickel with some old dried storage grease in the recesses. Has nearly all the case hardening colors on the hammer and trigger. Most of the blue remains on the trigger guard and top break latch. Grips in mint condition. Bright bore and in perfect working order. Box in excellent condition with original cleaning brush. Serial number (162,xxx range) in old original pencil on underside.
