BANNERMAN TRAPDOOR RIFLE. Serial number "345XXX". Bannerman unmarked lockplate(3 stage tumbler) with Model 1870 hammer. Precise Buffington sight like new. "1884" trapdoor. Mint bore and rifling. Correct cleaning rod. US marked buttplate, barrel bands(stacking swivels). Triggerguard stamped "M". Bannerman stamped "J" stock behind guard. Barrel stamped "V/P" over Spfd Eagle and "A". All original blue with brilliant old bannerman reblue on trapdoor(orig. case colored). Spectacular brilliant blue(original) "US" stamped socket bayonet with excellent collar(fits like a glove).
