Description:
Very Nice, old Colt SAA artillery model revolver, 5 1/2" barrel, .45cal., frame #2597, (mfg. 1874), Indian wars period, barrel is R.A.C. inspected with the "P" proof marking, cylinder is also R.A.C. #1268, trigger guard #136440 K, back strap #132279 K, good original grips with RAC inspectors markings and 1903 date. A good amount of blue still present, mainly on the barrel, top and bottom of ejector housing, and trigger guard. Traces of case color still evident on the frame. Nice markings, crisp perfect mechanics with all 4 clicks, and an excellent bore. Full front sight, and nice and clear barrel address. Very clean old gun, way better than most, with a very early Ainsworth period frame! Comes with factory letter. Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL needed, unless you live in a state that requires one for transfer, NY, NJ, etc.. Certified funds only, please. Buyer to pay $25.00 shipping which includes insurance, to the lower 48 states.
