Antique FLINTLOCK Pistol-Form FIRE TINDER Lighter
A Neat 18th & 19th Century Gadget to Start a Fire
Here we present an antique Flintlock Tinder Lighter, made circa 1800 in Europe. Flint and steel have long been used to start fires. This little gadget made the task a little easier by putting the tinder in the basket under the frizzen so that, when the trigger was pulled, the flint would create sparks against the frizzen and down into the tinder.
The overall condition is near fine. Grip is in great condition. The action is strong and crisp.
