Hubbard of Pecos, Reeves County, Texas with his registered brand; April 13, 1916 in Vol. No. 1 of REEVES COUNTY REGISTERED BRAND text; researched by Homer Mills, rancher out of Alpine, Texas; ‘RLC’ inside heel bond marked; GOLD INLAYS AND GOLD PLATED ROWELS ON BLACK STEEL; I believe that this pair could have been one of the pairs that Bob Causey took with him to Pico, California, where he visited John Vancleve Causey, his brother and a famous Buffalo Hunter; part of newspaper article on pgs. 90-1 of Jane Pattie’s book, COWBOY SPURS AND THEIR MAKERS; these are VERY RARE SPURS! ; from my own personal collection; All items shipped fully insured--Spurs $30; return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
