Description:
U.S. Model 1855 Maynard Tape Primed Pistol dated 1856. Bore has good rifling and light pits. Wood is very good with sharp edges. The Maynard feed is intact. The Eagle on the door is mostly visible. Rear sight blade is broken. Stock has a thin grain crack just in front of the lock. Brass parts have an even untouched mustard color patina. Very good example of an 1855 Model U.S. Percussion Pistol.
