This Savage case is the correct case for the Model 99 take down rifles. The shotgun barrel is the original take down barrel for these Model 99 takedowns. The barrel is in fine condition with a bright bore. The take down screw is intact. The horse shoe type nut for the screw is missing. The case is in fair condition. The case latches work fine. The carry handle is missing. This case shows much use and wear. The Inside Savage logo is intact. This Case set would be correct for the early style Savage type 99 takedown rifles.
