This is an original Deluxe Grade Forend. These hand checkered flat bottom forend's were first listed in the 1930's firearms parts and accessories listings for the Model 42 Shotguns. This forend is in near new condition. The original finish is fully intact. The checkering is sharp with no flat points. This forend shows no sign of being used.
