Description:
This is a very good Model 70 300 H&H Bull Barrel made in 1961. The gun has 98+% original bluing and the stock looks to be very lighty sanded or varnish just wore off? This is a late gun so the proof marks are not standard, this one is on top of barrel, check out Rule's book, it is correct. With the 28" barrel and target stock the gun is heavy. The bore is good and the gun has a light trigger, I don't see any issues with the gun. The bolt is serial number to the gun and all stamping is sharp. The gun has a Canjar trigger. Winchester only made 1862 300 H&H Bull Guns, that makes it a pretty rare gun. I will need a copy of your C&R or dealer's FFL.
