DWM Mauser 98 Model 1909 Argentine chambered in 7.65 Argentine. This all matching numbers Argentine Mauser 98 is in great mechanical condition with a good bore showing strong rifling with light frosting througout and a clean bolt face. All functions work as they should and the rifle is complete and unmodified other than a small import mark on the right side of the barrel. There are areas of thinning, handling marks and dings throughout the finish of the stock and metal. The 1909 Argentine is known to be one of the better 98 Military Mausers as far as fit and finish. This along with the bow release Oberndorf style trigger guard make the 1909 a favorite among custom gunmakers as base action to build custom rifles on. This would make an excellent choice for a representative piece for a military Mauser collection or as a base for your custom rifle project.
