Antique DOUBLE BARREL SxS Percussion Pistol
Mid-19th Century Self-Defense Pistol
Here we present an antique Double Barrel Pistol Side by Side Percussion Pistol, made circa the 1840s in Europe. This little pistol was made for self-defense and would have provided two shots of .39 caliber ball.
The overall condition is fair. The metal surfaces have a gray patina. The stock is in good shape. The bores are smooth. The action on this pistol is not functional. The left hammer screw is stripped, making it prone to come out and the hammer fall. Nevertheless, it would be a nice piece to display.
