Description:
Serial #5568, 7mm Mauser, 29 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Mauser Banner marked rifle with a crisp Brazilian crest on the receiver. The import marked barrel has about 60-70% of the original blue remaining, while the receiver has 80-85% bright, original blue. The balance of the metal has turned to a dark, pewter gray with spots of light freckling throughout. The matching numbered bolt is finished factory bright, and has mild freckling throughout. The walnut stock and forend have been arsenal refinished and have several bruises and blemishes along the newer varnish. The cleaning rod is not included. This is a fine example of a desirable 7mm contract Mauser, and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
