Caliber 38-70. Very rare. 26 1/2 inch barrel. Fine bore. Original sights.
Gun was refinished by Turnbull in 2004.
Cody research form shows gun was originally 38-56 cal. Last time it was returned to factory it was changed to 38-70 half oct. barrel.
Beautiful rifle. Condition is like new.
