This percussion rifle features a 35-3/4 inch heavy octagonal barrel with a .50 caliber bore. It has an engraved lock and hammer, brass trigger guard and butt plate, and a pewter fore end cap. The stock is beautifully striped. This is the sort of rifle that would have been used on the Frontier for big game, putting food on the table, and defense. The bore is fitted with a wooden tampion plug. The overall condition is good. Much of the original finish remains with a dark, even patina. The engravings are clear. The stock is in great shape. The bore is in good shape with strong rifling. The action is strong though the hammer intermittently slips off the cock notch. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 35-3/4 inches. Caliber: .50 Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail!
