Description:
Weatherby Mark V Accumark, Stainless Fluted, in .300 Weatherby Magnum. A "Made In USA" Weatherby Mark V, and features a 26" stainless fluted barrel, or 27 1/2" with muzzle-brake; A laminated fiberglass composite, Monte Carlo, stock with an aluminum bedding plate, sling studs, and a Pachmayr recoil pad (all as factory issued). The rifle also includes a set of Talley ring and base set, as shown in the photos. Condition: The barrel is in very good condition, though there are some minor, small scratches, and there is finish wear at the bolt knob, the floor-plate and trigger-guard. The stock shows signs of many hunting trips with wear to the textured finish, mostly along edges and corners of the left side of the stock, the side carried by the right handed hunter. Worn areas: The edges are worn along the bottom and rear of the cheek-piece, bottom edge of pistol grip, side of the stock above the trigger-guard and along the forend and tip of the forend. There is also a chip on the left side at top of the forend. The bore is in very good, clean, bright and shiny condition with no copper fowling. Though the rifle was hunted a lot, the bore was well kept and cleaned regularly. Weighs 9 Lbs. with scope ring and base set attached. No exact date but Weatherby's online page for manufacture dates show the rifle was manufactured from 1995 - 2002. Serial Number: SB039672.
