Nikko Model 5000 Golden Eagle 20 Gauge – AS NEW 6LB. 6OZ., 28" IC/M, GREAT BUY, GREAT GUN

Description:
Nikko Model 5000 Golden Eagle 20 Gauge
AS NEW, 6LB. 6OZ., 28" IC/M, GREAT BUY, GREAT GUN

General Specs: Nikko, Year 1983, 20 Gauge, 6lbs 6oz, O/U
Serial Number: 254520

Nikko was the same plant that the Winchester Model 101 was built at in Japan and the Nikko Model 5000-I is a very similar shotgun in design and function.  The selective single selective trigger is mechanical by design, not relying on recoil to reset for the second shot and is very reliable.  This gun, snK254520 built in the early 1980’s, is like brand new inside and out.  It has been fired but there is no sign of wear, and the gun functions as new.  It is a great feeling gun in hand, weighing 6lbs. 6oz. and balanced just slightly in front of the hinge pin.  The stock is unaltered since leaving the factory and has great modern shooting dimensions.  The trigger is crisp, the ejectors super strong, and the gun is still stiff when opening and closing.  It is an attractive gun as well, with what looks to be hand cut checkering and engraving, and a great looking gold eagle on each side of the receiver.  With the most popular 28” barrels choked IC/M, this is a great upland hunting gun and clay target gun that is affordable, known to be mechanically superior, and dynamic in hand.  It is a great value in a quality over/under that will serve you well for generations to come.  Thanks for looking.
