Description:
Sold as a pair. 7k serial range with only 10 numbers between them. Guns are in excellent condition with about 90% silver finish. Cal 38 RF. Revolvers are virtually identical in every respect with 3-1/2″ oct bbls. Cylinders, hammers & rammers are gold washed.There were about 18,000 of these revolvers produced 1865-1873 with the majority of them made as cartridge conversions. Revolvers are beautifully and identically engraved by master engraver L.D. Nimschke with nearly full coverage foliate patterns. Butt straps are engraved as well with a 6-pointed hunters star. Mechanics are fine. Smooth pearl grips. These are a very fine pair of rare Remington revolvers!
