Whitney "Wolverine" 22 LR pistol. Very good 90%. Circa 1950-1960. The first Aluminum firearm.
Rear sight arched sheet metal and cut in a way that gives a black background for a perfect sight picture. This is a very accurate 22 pistol. Designed by Robert Hillberg of Branford, CT. He designed for several major firearms manufacturers and lastly for High Standard. Famous for his design of high quality precision target pistols.
10 round magazine is heavy gauge stamped and welded sheet metal. The follower has a hole that you put a 22 cartidge to aid in the movement of the follower to insert cartridges.
