Description:
Box of 50 30 cal. carbine new brass. Head stamped WCC 54. Box of 20 nickel plated 45-70 brass. Head stamped F with various dates. One box Winchester 45-60 with 15 empty cases. Box is in poor condition, but very interesting. Marked on top with "#2 Wesson primer" On side "Uner S. W. Woods patent April 1, 1862 and April 2, 1862 and A. G. Hobbs patent October 31, 1876." There is a caution label saying "These cartridges are intended for use only in Winchester guns which are marked 45-60 on the underside of the carrier block".
