FN SAKO MAGNUM MAUSER 98 SUPREME ACTION CUSTOM BENCHREST .22-250 REM HEAVY 29 1/2" BARREL RIFLE. Heavy weight bull barrel unmarked (could be Douglas)drilled and tapped for scope base. New receiver by FN marked "FN Action-made in Belgium" drilled and tapped as well for and aft of bridge. Fill screws in holes rear of bridge. "Finland" stamped single stage trigger. Mint rifling and bore as I don’t believe ever shot since appears to be in the process of completion. Unfinished project from late 1980's. Herters plastic buttplate on benchrest stock with nicely figured unstained blank near completion. Just needs scope and some stain and ready to go. Trigger crisp and lockup tight. Side safety. Blued receiver with barrel in the white. Missing follower on top of spring for mag well. Receiver marked "L" and "ML" I guess for magnum and or long action. 12.75 lbs.
