Nice WW2 U.S. Property Remington Rand/Ithaca 1911A1 chambered in .45 A.C.P. This pistol shows arsenal rework markings from Anniston Arsenal. This pistol features all correct G.I parts including a High Standard barrel with a nice bore, and a nice WW2 period Risdon contract magazine. The slide is Remington Rand and the frame is an Ithaca produced in 1943. It is common for slides and frames to be mismatched manufacturers on arsenal reworked guns, as they did not concern themselves with matching them during this process. his 1911A1 is in excellent condition and retains approximately 95% of its parkerizing. A very nice example of its type. Please call for further details.
