This is a beautiful unfired and mint Winchester Super Grade in .243 Winchester caliber complete with the original box, paperwork, and owner's manual. It was bought new and put up into storage immediately until now. The Super Grade Model 70 is Winchester's finest production rifle. It features a high gloss blue factory finish with a Mauser-style extractor, controlled-round feeding, a matte finished Walnut stock with hand-cut checkering and an ebony forend tip, inlaid sling swivel bases, and a jeweled bolt. This particular Super Grade is chambered in the .243 Winchester cartridge. The condition of this rifle is pristine. The gloss blue finish is immaculate and the bore shows no wear or imperfections whatsoever. The stock is equally as clean with crisp checkering no and handling or storage marks. This rifle is in the exact same condition as it was the day it left the factory. All of the controls on this Model 70 work perfectly and the action is super slick but precise. The trigger on this rifle is exceptional. It breaks cleanly with light pressure with no slop or grit. As mentioned before, this rifle comes with the original box and all of the paperwork it shipped with. if you have been looking for a classy and well-made rifle for your collection this Winchester Super Grade would be hard to beat.
