1903 vintage Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, standing Colt checkered hard rubber grips, blue/color case-hardened finished, and chambered in .45 Long Colt. Gun is in good condition, retaining none nof its original finishes and turned a grey/silver patina. The grips are well worn, but fit well and have only one small chip on the right grip panel. The bore is shootable, with strong rifling, but some areas of corrosion. The action functions very well, and is reasonably tight. Includes Colt factory letter stating gun was shipped to Belknap Hardware & Mfg. Company, located in Louisville, KY, October 26th, 1903. Interesting old Colt SAA.
