Waffenwerke Brunn (Nazi coded duo 45), Mod.98, Czech. BRNO, Ser. 6677 H, Cal. 8.mm. If you ever wanted to own one of the worlds most famous battlefield firearms without selling your first born here's your chance.
This is a minty unfired example of the the famous Mauser 98K. It was made in the Nazi captured CZ Brno factory and bears the Nazi code "dou" with a build date of 45. At same time the Russians were invading Czechoslavia and this gun was still in factory. The last shipment to go the Nazis was serial numbered in the F block. This gun is in the middle of the H block, only one and a half blocks away when the Russians came in. It was part of the original Nazi production that missed the last shipment.
Eventually the Nazi Waffenamts were removed and covered by the Czech Lion. What a history. The condition is minty. All numbers match. The original blue is at least 99+%. The same for the stock and handguard. Not a nick or a ding anywhere. It has the late war winter trigger guard. The barrel is pristine. The bore, mirror bright with razor sharp rifling.
